Guest guest
, I tend to reach my deductible early as well; this year it will be because I have had two different hospital stays totalling 15 days....lolol.....but that's okay! Anyhow, I wanted to tell you I use a chiro (female) and she is very very good; she is concerned about the whole body, not just the alignment and is very up on nutrition, etc. She has helped loosen knots that were at my neck and shoulders and " keeps me straight " so to speak. I also use a reflexologist who does ion cleansing which helps to keep me detoxed (I am on so many meds for different things it really does help). Because she " pulls " the inflammation out of my joints, I find I don't have to resort to using my break-thru meds as often. Right now I'm due to go to the chiro (Friday) and because of my lovely hospital stay last week, my low back has been giving me fits and I am having to take my break-thru meds. But only for a few more days! Good luck with the chiro. If she doesn't work out, keep looking until you find one that does. I also plan to check out a neuromuscular massage therapist who works on folks with fibro. My shoulders and upper back area seem to always hurt and I have been carrying a headache for about a week (it subsides then comes back); because of the blood clot, I can't take OTC stuff and have to go to either my robaxin or my darvocet.....just for a darned headache! Anyhow, I have used her before and she was great. I'm looking to add whoever I can that will help me function at somewhat of a " normal " level, whatever that is!
