Guest guest
thanks for that info, jill, i did try his supplements, but they did not help me, and i have an allergy to soy, which his powder has a lot of in it. what do you mean they follow teitelbaum's protocol " for the most part " ?? yeh, i thot that they did submit bloodwork to insurance. did you think the iv supps helped you feel better eventho you only had a couple? i never heard of craig's list but will look for it. good ideas about calling for references. the center an hour from me has 2 indian docs, from india, i am not prejudice, but it takes so much extra energy to pay close attention to understand bad english for me! the only other center in out of state, for me. glad to hear they will rx stimulants. thanks again, marg > > Hi Marg, > > It is $390 for the first 2 appt., but then it's $199 which is still a lot. The first 2 appt.'s the Dr. spends about an hour with you to determine a treatment plan for your needs based on your symtoms and blood work results. > They do follow Dr. Tietlebaum's Theory for the most part.....my Dr. has not had success with the supplements for pain relief, so she does not suggest them (they are expensive). I wanted to try them anyway and they did not work for me. They do very extensive bloodwork at your first appt which your insurance company should cover, if not they will work with you on the cost. Guest guest
Hi Marg, Which supplements did you try? Their program does have many supplements in it but they also rely on many precription meds also. Maybe they could help you find other supplements that you need that do not contain soy. The rx's they have me on right now are naturally compounded Cortisol, Progesterone, and Thyroid. Also, Trazedone and Mirapex for sleep, Floconazole for Candida, Provigil, Amantadine for viruses, Lyrica, and Effexor. All my pain meds and muscle relaxants come from my pain Dr. What I meant by they follow Dr. T's protocol somewhat...I actually should have said almost completely. She has not had success with the pain supplement and the Corvalen that dr. T is so excited about, so she leaves it up to you i you want to buy them. Other than that, I think the protocol is exactly the same. I need to go pick up my kids and won't be back for awhile, but let me know if you have any questions.
