Mel - I'm glad you found an excellent chiropractor. I love my chiropractor!

I've been seeing him for 13 years now. I only go when I feel I need an

adjustment. Sometimes I will hurt or get a headache that evening or the next

day, but I know it will pass. When looking for a chiropractor, it's a good idea

to research them just like you did, or get a referral from another patient, so

you know what to expect. Take care.

I just started seeing a chiropractor today actually for my Fibro. He seemed to

be very good. When I asked if they treated Fibromyalgia they said to be sure to

tell the doctor that was why I was there so they can use a different approach in

treating you so they do not cause you more pain. He said he likes to start out a

little at a time and work up to more as I can take it because I could leave or

end up in a lot of pain. He said a lot of chiropractors will do that if they are

not familiar with Fibro. They will just go ahead and try realigning

everything and you will be really hurting. I went to one before I was

diagnosed with Fibro and he went ahead and did all kinds of things and I left

feeling less tightness but within a few hours I felt like I was hit by a truck

and ran over. It was bad. So, be sure to find out if they treat Fibro because

some do not and if so let them know that is why you are there.
