Guest guest
As far as for me, after playing goldy locks in my own house and none of the matttess's working, except to start out for a change, I have decided if going to pay alot, I need to go with the sleep by number as I want to be able to change mattress's as I need which is not really what you do but can change the comfort as needed, and since hubby likes different then me, feel this will be the right one for me. I also need the head adjustment so to lift my head up and down, when I get stuck. I even tried the magnetic mattress yrs ago, though Fibro was not known the pain was, and friend from Korea had ordered, alot of money there to and that worked for a time. So my case believe I need the adjust for comfort choice. Hope lighter nights and more sleep for those getting new beds now. Guest guest
We recently purchased a Sleep Number bed and I really like it. I wasn't sleep well at all before, rolling from one side to the other trying to get comfortable, to the couch, to the recliner, back to the bed etc. I am now sleeping much better, sometimes even all the way through on good days! I still wake up with my pains, but the pain doesn't keep me awake like it did before. Guest guest
Interesting - maybe I should start saving my pennies - they are really expensive aren't they? I'd need a queen and I think it's really expensive Jana Metz wrote: We recently purchased a Sleep Number bed and I really like it. Guest guest
, They do have different models so the price varies. They have a store inside Arrowhead Mall. You can go there and try out the different beds and see if you even like it. Guest guest
Jana, Is the sleep # bed more cost efficient than the temperpedic? I want the temperpedic but DH says " too expensive " ....so I have a memory foam topper on our bed, and while it helps, it has made our bed that much higher! Darlene I have A temperpedic very expensive but it has made a world of > difference in my night pain. It has been worth every penny. Guest guest
5 Years ago when I was shopping for a new bed, I came across info that said the Temperpedic bed does not last as long as the sleep#. But that was 5 years ago. If I was shopping again for a bed that costs a LOT of money, I would go to both stores and try them out and I would look them up on Consumer Reports. And doesn't sleep # let you have a two week trial period or am I hallucinating? Re: comment on beds Next bed Jana, Is the sleep # bed more cost efficient than the temperpedic? Guest guest
I get a 30 day trial period. I can't imagine having to go through the hassle of disassembling the bed to ship it back. They probably count on that. Jeanne in WI 5 Years ago when I was shopping for a new bed, I came across info that said the Temperpedic bed does not last as long as the sleep#. Guest guest
Do they pressure you to buy? I'll wait until you get here and make you meet me there! Guest guest
That would be fun! I wish I had bought the one where the head of the bed raises. As it is, the king size one I bought was close to $5000 after taxes and delivery. I still can't believe I spent that much on a bed, but between my fibro and back problems, it really helps. They don't pressure you, but they make sure you try a couple of beds out and they give you their little talk about how it conforms to your body. I am in LOVE with their pillows!!! I have 2 from their and I can't sleep without them. I take them with me where ever I go. I wish I could pack my bed too.... Jill Re: comment on beds Next bed Do they pressure you to buy? We had tried several at one of the local stores, but the sales person was just so pushy, we don't go back. But we have two --- DH and I find it hard to sleep in same bed --- first it wasn't that I had restless legs but rather restless body if there is such a term??? --- my entire body started jerking and he would yell at me to " stop it! " So, on those nights I went to the guess room, then it got so bad it was much more constant, so it was separte rooms. Then we decided we would get the sleep number queen -- - turns out that if you get the regular queen, each side is smaller than a twin bed is. And that meant that since I have a high number, DH has a low number & weighted more, it was as if I was rolling into the middle of an old worn out bed. So now I have my own standard size bed and the # can go as I as I want. I can't imagine having it at a ONE!!! > --------------------------------- > Looking for last minute shopping deals?
