Guest guest
Hi all, know Ive been missing awhile, but have once again been overwhelmed with company, travels and regular household crap. Sigh... I feel like I completely missed the entire month of July.Quick note on thin celiacs... Im one, not by choice, its just how I metabolize. It also varys week to week, and even day to day. I can get up one day put on my jeans, bra and t-shirt, next day, jeans are too big as is the bra (I normally wear large shirts since I never know what size the "girls" are going to be. Few days later, have to go to my custom bra and jeans are tight. I just never know.I noticed that someone did post about the mold allergy connection with "veined" cheeses. I think that is more than likely a major contributor to many problems. There are about 0 bleu cheeses I can eat in the US, but have no problem with certain brands here, as the cultures are very old, and there is little to no nasty allergens (penecillin here). Ive yet to see a bleu here that is made from gluten mold culture.Im going to try and find time to play catch up here.. Been crazy with berry season right in full swing, plus company, plus end of summer plans, and trying to make sure the boiler system is in WELL before we leave... (Yeah, its been a riot boiling water on the stove or hauling it in from sauna for dishes...)Hope this finds you all well, Im off to hang wash, pick some more berries, clean my wine cask (so I can start another batch this time Lingonberry...) and a host of other wonderful chores. NOT! LOL!Everyone have a great gluten free day!Best!CassiGluten free in downtown Imatra
Guest guest
HOLY COW! Is changing size in "the girls" another sign of celiac? I thought I was losing my mind, or having cancer issues. One day my bra fits, the next I'm pooching out the sides (having that doublet)...I thought of going up a cup size, but mastectomy bras are really expensive, and 36DD are hard to find, and then the next day they fit again.) Maybe I'll try to find a couple on ebay in the next size up for those days when they are tight. --loriann aka Victree the Christian clown -------------- Original message -------------- Hi all, know Ive been missing awhile, but have once again been overwhelmed with company, travels and regular household crap. Guest guest
>> If you'll excuse an observation from a male, I would be inclined in this> heat to blame fluid retention....> Dear n, we shall forgive you. No, not fluid retention, rest assured I dont have the "parts" for that type retention. The "girls" were a consistant 36DD (well, one is a D½ so hence the custom gear) for the past 8 years. Fluid loss/gain will not make one go from a DD to a C in a day... Yet, this is what happens. Other times I cant stuff the girls in the custom. I weigh a consistant 119# now. (53.95-54.18Kg) Pre-diagnosis, I was anywhere from 148-85# yet the girls were the same as they were for the prior 7 years to DX. The jeans fitting and the "girls" fitting at the same time do not necessarily go together, at the same time. Go figure!Best!CassiGluten free in downtown Imatra! Guest guest
I second that! It’s Wacoal – I bought one for almost $70 – but it fit like a dream and lasted for a very long time!!! I got mine at Macy’s. Funny thing – soon thereafter we went to the Philippines, where everything is cheap. They had Wacoal bras, but dontcha know they were all much smaller! ) Trudy From: SillyYaks [mailto:SillyYaks ] On Behalf Of Sherene Silverberg Sent: Tuesday, August 01, 2006 7:42 AM To: SillyYaks Subject: Re: Skinny celiacs, bleu cheese and stuff On Aug 1, 2006, at 8:53 AM, victreenjesus (AT) comcast (DOT) net wrote: > and 36DD are hard to find, and then the next day they fit again.) ========== Wacohl (not sure how to spell that) has 36DD's. you can get them at Dillard's and Nordstrom's. they are pricey but fit beautifully.
