New R-Word.org Website Launches as the One Week Countdown to March 2 Begins

In an effort to continue empowering the grassroots youth-led movement of Spread the Word to End the Word we’re thrilled to announce the re-launch of www.r-word.org as a fully interactive, highly energetic and socially engaging website – just in time for the one week countdown to Spread the Word to End the Word Day on March 2! The new site centralizes all of the content, news and resources of the campaign and better empowers you to activate locally in your schools and communities.

Some of the highlights of the new site to help you Spread the Word to End the Word include:

Increased social web integration with our Facebook widget and share buttons

Informational resources on what to do when you hear the R-word

Lots of downloadable resources for use on the web and elsewhere

Integration of user-generated content in our Photos and Videos section

Event registration to highlight all of your local events
