Caregiver Support Group

Hi Everyone,

JAFCO is providing a weekly support group, for caregivers raising children who have special needs. This group meets weekly to provide parents an opportunity to share common feelings, experiences and learn about resources in our community. The group provides support as well as addresses topics that are meaningful today and for planning the future.

The group meets on Friday mornings, from 9:30am to 10:45 am. It also meets on the 1st Wednesday evening of each month from 5:30pm to 7:30pm weekly.

Our group meets at Play Town Café located at 19575 S. State Road 7, Boca Raton , Fl. 33498 in the Shoppes of Boca Greens. They can be reached at #561- 852-2150.

The group will be meeting on the following Friday mornings dates: February 25, March 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, April 1st, 15th, 22nd, 29th, May 6th, and 13th.

We will also be meeting on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 5:30pm – 7:30pm on the following dates: March 2nd, April 6th and May 4th.

JAFCO has a Caregiver Support Group in each County. There is also one currently being offered on Monday mornings at 9:30 am - 10:45am and 1 evening each month at the Posnack JCC in Davie. Please call me for details at x 118.

The group in Boca has been a WONDERFUL support system for me. I highly recommend it to anyone that can attend!
