Yes you read right. My husband and I found out early in our marriage

that we could not have children so we became foster parents. We fostered

for 10 yrs and had 100 kids in our home. We kept 11 of them and pretty

much retired from foster care. We are praying in the next couple of

months to finalize our last two adoptions and then we will finally be

complete in every way. If it were for this disease I would have liked to

have had another 3 or 4 but now my body wears out faster than before I

and I can barely keep up with the ones I have. They re such wonderful

kids some are special needs in that we have one that is bipolar and some

with PTSD and some with ODD ( oppositional defiant disorder) and a few

other things. Last year my oldest ( now 12) had Hodgkin's lymphoma so we

spent alot of time at the cancer center. HE went into remission in

August and what a blessing it was to be able to say he is now a cancer

survivor. His and his sister are the two we will finalize this year.

The kids are awesome and they help me so very much. Especially since

being diagnosed. most of them are above 7 yrs old and so that has helped

they can fix their own meals and we home school so they do their own

work. Then they will also help me around the house. They have really

pitched in and taken over for me. We do have days when none of us want

to do anything and we basically wont either but for the most part they

are wonderful and I cant imagine life without a full house.

Well, all I can say is God bless you for all you are doing for those

lucky kids. I have a hard time going to work and chasing one 2 year

old, let alone having a house full!! I am in awe of you. That is just

great. I hope you all have a happy, healthy, blessed Easter.
