Guest guest
: I just copied the body of your message, and did not fwd or include anything except what the message said and sent it via this website. Whether this is a hoax or not...it is not funny and should be investigated regardless. I also told Yahoo that I was reorting it! Guest guest
Nan, It isn't a hoax. I went to www.yahoogroups.com and put bin laden in the search box. This group came up as number 8. Most were Anti bin laden, however, this one was kind of scary. I want to keep an eye on it, as currently it says there are 12 members. 12 too many, but I want to see if it grows. As I told yahoo, I understand freedom of speech, but with the privilege of that freedom comes responsibility, and terroristic talk and threats are not covered. --- RENANNE BAKER RABBIT@...> wrote: > Whether this is a > hoax or not...it is not funny and should be investigated regardless. Guest guest
It's down to 19 members this morning. They only have 1 message for Oct. While offensive (!) this is a group of seriously stupid individuals. How secretive do they expect to be since all their members are probably traceable once they join this nasty little group? Their stupidity just might land them in more trouble than they bargained for.... I certainly hope so.

Bin Laden and what he stands for offends me in EVERY way possible. That doesn't mean that I'm offended by this yahoogroup that popped up though. Did you guys ever stop to think that maybe some silly little teeny-bopper started this group to enrage people? And then maybe people started joining out of some morbid sense of curiosity. It's sort of like a train wreck; you don't want to stare but you can't look away. I SERIOUSLY doubt that the people in this group ose any real threat. I think it's awesome that the FBI is monitoring; you can never be too careful. BUT, the REAL people who've helped bin Laden have proved that they're NOT stupid. I dobt they'd be stupid enough to start a group that ANYONE can join and pass along info that can be of any " help " . Looks more to me like it's someone with one SICK sense of humor. *sigh* Why do people have to be SO stupid???? -- in Indy (262.5)253.5/217.5/150 3/26/

Guest guest
This can be a whole 'nother can of worms I take just the opposite view point. (lucky we are that we can do that on this list!) I would hope that any teeny bopper that started something like this would be SEVERELY reprimanded/punished/chastised. Even the so called teeny boppers should have a sense of right and wrong (and if they don't, it doesn't say much of our parenting) No one thought that " those kids " in the Manson commune were dangerous either. They were just " hippies smoking dope. " When Hitler was a kid, no one thought he was a danger. Sometimes it is the wayward branch of terrorist followers that are even more dangerous. It isn't just terrorist in other countries, we have them here also.... think Oklahoma City.... I sincerely believe that we, as a country, have to take these type things seriously and act upon them. Just as FL did with the woman that sent the boyfriend the letter with the threat of anthrax... she has a 25,000 bond and is looking at 15 years in prison. In my opinion, (and we all know about those...) we need to nip these things in the bud, stop them in their tracks etc. As I said before, we have have a wonderful freedom loving country, BUT with each of those freedoms comes a responsibility to use them wisely. Terrorizing someone is not being responsible, nor is it why the freedom of speech was given by our Founding Fathers. > I SERIOUSLY doubt that the people in this group ose any real threat. Guest guest
Well, that's exactly what I meant by them being stupid & asking for more trouble than they had bargained for. If they thought this was funny...they might find out after the FBI starts knocking on their door that it wasn't so funny after all <<<I SERIOUSLY doubt that the people in this group ose any real threat.
