Guest guest
I was washed out, tired and in constant all over body pain today. It was bad. I finally got tired of it and took a mixture of meds and it did work.... but it is too much I am sure. Ok.... I took a total of 15mg of Hydrocodone, 440 mg of Naproxen, 650mg of Aspirin, and a Robaxin muscle relaxer. ALL at once. It did it for a while. I was able to move without pain finally, participate in life with my kids a little bit instead of laying on the couch like a pile of lifeless matter, and I even bathed my little boy and cleaned to kid's bathroom. I cleaned the toilet, the tub, the sink, the counter and the floor and the mirror. That was alot for me. Just saying, it seems it gets harder and harder to put symptoms at bay. I could have chosen to not take all those meds and just lay on the couch. But just for today, I took that amount because that is what it took to get me out of pain. I took some tramadol last night and a couple of flexerils because I did not want to take any more hydrocodone after work. I also put some icy hot all over my legs, arms and neck and upper back after my mineral bath last night. I woke up feeling just as crappy as I did before I went to bed. Well, so be it. I guess if I have to concoct some formula of pills once in a while to feel half way functional, then I will. I know that any one of those meds alone would not have done a thing for me. But together, I got some results. It is also not good to take naproxen and aspirin together as they are both anti inflamatory drugs and also are anti platelet drugs can make you bleed. But, I don't do that every day. Well, Thanks for listening, hugs, Debra V. --------------------------------- Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Yahoo! Search. I try to save the percocet for really bad days and I never take the valium during the day if I can avoid it. But the Bayer Back and Body will sometimes work and then there are the days when I have a migraine which just adds to it. And then, my dh says he is making an appointment to meet with the retirement person for next Monday and he could not understand why I said I have an appointment with my psychiatrist at two and then a 3 with my pyschiatric social worker. He knows I go everyother week and they are really difficult to do both in one day. (that is I see the social worker every other week --- thank God! I don't see the pyschiatrist but every three months and next week IS THE LAST TIME she is going to see me --- I am going to see my favorite psychiatrist. (I have a crush on him but keep that quiet!!!) Well, I am going to bed. I worked on taxes today once again DH does not understand what I need to do it all! I am so tired of his thinking it's easy to do!! I now have to search for his pension deduction for this year and see if I paid my 2008 IRA last year!!! Thank goodness one of us knows how to do this!!!! Oh, and while all of that is going on, " do you want everything in this box? " He's packing. I would just rather wait until we move before I do any more sorting! I know, it bitch, bitch, bitch~~~~
Guest guest
Debra, I know they pulled the naproxen from me because for me, it hurts my kidney function (I think it's a side effect). And sometimes, the pain is so much I do want to take a robaxin and darvocet, only it would make me sleep! I'm glad you were able to function, if only for a little while. It's too bad that the feeling didn't carry over into the next morning for you! I know with the Lyrica, I can at least get out of bed without feeling as though I'm 100 yrs old, which is good. But I'm still pretty " slow to start " in the mornings. Darlene > > I was washed out, tired and in constant all over body pain today. It was bad. Guest guest
Thanks Darlene. Only a fibromite can understand. I might should consider my kidney function too. I don't ever get it checked. Of course, to my knowledge I have never had kidney problems. I hope I never do. I know this really limits what you can take for pain. love and hugs, Debra V. ddean228 wrote: Debra, I know they pulled the naproxen from me because for me, it hurts my kidney function (I think it's a side effect).
