Hey yourself.

We live outside of the Augusta area, the town is

called Waynesboro. Yep according to the weather people

17 tornadoes were confirmed in a 4 county area and 2

F1/2 were within 2 miles of us. I saw one of the

funnel clouds before the touch down. We were extremely

lucky. I have seen weird weather and survived a cat 5

hurricaine. But never have I seen trees just uprooted

in a single area, not broken mind you just plain

uprooted. And hail the size of golf balls.

I had my 8 yo grandson with me and trying to stay

calm while gathering blankets and mattresses was a

hoot. I also have a aging golden retriever and a 2 yo

English bulldog that were up under me like glue.

my daughter and her husband were on the other side of

the county calling on the cell phones scared as they

were getting the same thing at a friends house and

worried about us. it was a storm system that according

to weather history that has never been seen in these

parts.
