Guest guest Posted March 25, 2008 Report Share Posted March 25, 2008 Hi Peeps! Just checking in. In a world of pain today. Haven't been sleeping at all well unless I drug myself senseless. No good. So I found another chiro that actually knows about Fibro and has other Fibro patients. (My last Chiro had never heard of it) First thing he said ws " we are going to get you off the meds " GREAT! I hate taking drug cocktails. Plus, the Lyrica is making me put on weight and feel puffy now. I have given it a fair trial and if I can stop taking it, Wooo Hooo for me. I want to see what this guy can do. He is well thought of and also does Sports medicine, working with the local pro sports teams...Eagles, Flyers, Sixers, Phillies. So he has to be good, right? I go on the 31st for the first visit so I will keep you posted. All chiropractors are not created equal. I am optimistic. Also saw my internist today and he is sending me for a bunch of blood work rechecking Rheum. profile and ANA etc. plus the usual. He is going to have to partner with my Chiro whether he likes it or not. Thie is MY body, Daggone it!!!!! Hope everyone is doing well.
