I will only answer what I have heard about it because I have not tried it. I

have heard that it takes a while with this method and that you feel even worse

before you feel better. I know you have to follow some strict protocols on what

you eat and what meds you take and even the everyday products you use.

I suppose I have not considered it because I think that for the first few weeks

or so it will render me disabled to work. However, hey, if it works and someone

is willing to try it, I say go for it. I have heard some people say it works.

I don't know if it works in the long term though.

Just my 2 cents.

,

I tried it last year. It is a huge pain because there are certain things that

can not touch your skin. I forget what it is, but it does include plants. So,

you have to throw away everything you have from make up, lotion, soaps, cleaning

supplies, etc. Also, you can't touch any plants. This include walking on

grass. Then you have to go out and buy the products that do not include any of

the no-no's. It is VERY time consuming. It also includes a low carb diet and I

think no wheat? The theory is at first your body starts to flush out the toxins

and you get much worse. Then you gradually get better.

So, I bought all new products and followed the protocol. I definitely went into

a HUGE flare-up. I got theses huge lumps in the bottom of my feet that I had

never had before. I was on the protocol for 5 months and I stayed in the

flare-up the entire time without any moments of starting to feel better. I

couldn't take it anymore and went off it. Look on their website and they have a

group forum where you can ask questions. The forum does get nasty though, so

watch out. There is not much support and a lot of back-stabbing. Although, it

may be better since I was on it.

Good Luck!

Debra,

It will render you disabled for a lot longer than a few weeks. And, it is a

VERY strict protocol. Every aspect of your life will have to change. I tried

it because I was desperate. Made me worse and it never let up after being on it

for months.

I did the treatment for a couple years back in 03 and 04, stopped in March of

05. Because my biggest symptom is my fatigue, the improvement was very subtle.

I participated in an online group for the protocol, and many claimed to have

great success with it. The difficult part is eliminating the products you use

on skin and hair that contain salycilates. They are in practically everything.

Good luck with it, if you decide to try it.

I'm just curious if anyone is trying this " treatment " and if they think it

works. If your doctor has recommended it... you get the idea.

Thanks!
