Guest guest
Ok, chalk one up for the women. LOL. (just kidding really... no offense to men). My husband was suppose to have surgery this week ....(yes, scheduled again). He came down the last 5 or 6 days with a horrible respiratory bug that is running rampant in this area. I told him the other day that " You do not need to go under anesthesia with that resp infection " ... Ok they Urologist knew he is sick and still wanted to do it. They were going to take a graft from the inside of the mouth and put it into the urinary tract. The Ear, Nose and Throat doc is a woman that he was suppose to see yesterday so she could clear him for the graft. She called (husband) and told him that she will NOT ok a surgery with him ill like this. She said the Urologist argued with her. But #1-- the tissue they graft would be infected from his resp illness)... and #2- she said " you do not want to go under anesthesia with a respiratory illness " . And #3--- I say that when you are already coughing up junk from your lungs you don't need to have a surgery that will put you almost immobile for several days and unable to cough effectively because of pain... it will likely get you a good dose of pneumonia. hugs, Debra V. --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo!
