Guest guest
I wanted to say yes I get this, but not quite so far up the arms. I have ?? it, and have not found the problem. It is soooo painfull though, It seems to stay for a long time when I have it, then it will go away. Most of the time I get it I seem to notice, it starts when I am sleeping, or comes on stronger. You are right nothing kills the pain. I just lay on a heating pad, or my heat pack, and hope it goes away soon, My Rhumie, who my PCP sent me to, diagnoised the fibro and still sees, or likes to see me every 3 mo, I don't always get in there, so she still wants to be in on finding TX to get it under control, though alot of non narcotic meds have not worked.. I hope this pain lets up if you are having it now, and the only other suggestion I was given was to get the cortisone shot, as I could not tolertate the steriods my stomach very sensitive. Hope this helps with your question, I don't know if you got any other responses for the pain. Many rheumatologists still treat fibro patients like myself. *** Hi, I'm wondering if other people with fibro have experienced this. I have pain on both sides, in my rib cage. The pain goes from my arm pits about half way to my waist. It is on my side, close to my back. It also goes up under my arms and to my triceps. Sometimes my biceps are sore too. This particular pain does not seem to respond to any of my meds (cymbalta, neurontin, hydrocodone...) Has anyone experienced this? Any thoughts on what might help? Also - according to my rheumatologist, fibro is not considered a rheumatological disease anymore so they refer you back to your PCP if that's what they think you have. What have you all heard about this? Mira
