Guest guest
Hi all, I went to see my internist today. Haven't seen her since I went to the rheumy. I told her the rheumy said I had fibro and I had to live with it nothing to be done. She just shook her head and said, no, you don't just live with it. Asked her about Lyrica..she said she has had good luck with her patients who tried it. Got a whole bottle of freebies..who doesn't love that. I'm to start taking one at night for 7 days then twice a day. I took my first magic pill a little while ago, God I hope it helps. Is anyone on it that it has actually helped? How long before you noticed any change? I did get a script for Vicodin. She knows I won't abuse it, I told her I had to take 2 Darvocets sometimes and she said that isn't good I'm just ruining my liver, I said I know, that's why I'm telling you. I didn't take it further as in if the Lyrica doesn't work. We shall see. She had a good attitude though didn't blow me off, and was very supportive. I've been a wreck worrying about this appointment. Wish me luck, kids. Hugs, /Mi
Guest guest
, Opioids are actually less harmful to your body than the narcotics. Just remember that if you need more pain meds and she says no because of your liver. Although, you will probably have to see a pain specialist for the them. DEA has gotten so strict thanks to the junkies. ~Jill doctor appointment Hi all, I went to see my internist today. Haven't seen her since I went to the rheumy.
