WHAT: This free webinar will provide case examples and successful strategies that optimize transition outcomes for youth with autism. The Individualized Career Planning Model is an individualized process that includes the Discovery person-centered planning approach. This differs from traditional vocational assessments and standardized tests in that it culminates in a rich and detailed vocational profile which is a written picture of the job seeker that leads to customized employment and post secondary education opportunities.MODERATOR: Debra NoelPRESENTER: Nila Benito is Coordinator of Community Supports for the Florida Center for Inclusive Communities, University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities at the University of South Florida. Nila’s primary focus is to help her sons with autism, & ph, be the best they can be. Through her work at USF, she promotes positive outcomes for, and a greater understanding of people with developmental disabilities and their families.
