It took the drs. until I was pregnant for the 5th time, to discover that my urethra was too small and wasn't allowing me to fully empty my bladder, so a surgical dilation of the urethra was done. Problem there solved. Guest guest
I had fibro when I carried my little son who is almost 6 now. I did not know it then though. But the kidney problem sounds familiar because I had alot of protein in my urine when pregnant. They thought I was eclamptic, but found I was not. They never addressed the reason for finding protein in my urine. So, perhaps it was the fibro that caused it. I also remember just being overly tired (which can be normal with pregnancy), I also retained alot of fluid in the last couple of months and had sky high blood pressure. I don't know if any of this had to do with fibro though. I do not remember having the pain I now have and have had for the last 4 or 5 years. hugs, Debra V. Both my daughter and I went through pregnancies with fibro. I did fine, except for my kidneys during the pregnancies, but my daughter was put on fentanyl patches with her 5th one and he was born addicted to them. I hope that this helps.
