Guest guest
Things are looking up for a change, I fired my doctor and found a local Fibromyalgia support group to boot. Since my former doctor made it very clear that he does not believe in, understands, or treats Fibromyalgia, it just didn't make sense to retain his services when other doctors are or will be available that will take me seriously. He can take his stethoscope and stick the ends of it in another orifice other than his ears. I spoke to a woman on the FM support group who also has the disorder, it felt good during first contact to be able to speak to another person that has the same thing, and is going through the same physical issues. Somewhere down the road to better health,... when it comes to doctors, the road forks. One path leads to a closed mind where the extremes of logic exist. The other path leads to common sense, an open mind, and the possibility that the patient has a degree of intelligence, enough to figure out that something is not right and needs to be fixed or at the least managed properly.
