Guess what.... Re: fibro and pregnancy

I had Fibro while pregnant with my daughter, who is 4. I did not have

any problems with the symptoms I had at the time, but I did end up

with a new symptom...extreme sensitivity to cold and horrible chills.

I thought this had something to do with my daughter; I was scared to

death that something was wrong with her. But it had nothing to do

with her at all; it was just the initial impact of the pregnancy on

the Fibro. Other than that, my pregnancy went wonderfully well, until

the last TWO WEEKS when I suddenly developed Pre-eclampsia and carried

around 1.5 to 2 pounds of excess fluid! I was induced the same week

as her due date and everything went well (and fast!). It was over in

5 hours and my recovery was a cinch...

And, I was symptom-free until she was about a year and a half!
