This competition will be held exclusively for All Children with Autism ages 2-6, 7-12, and 13-18. The selected art & artists from the contest will published in a book entirely dedicated to and from kids with Autism, with portions of all the proceeds going to help find a cure. The Florida Art for Autism competition will begin May 1st, 2011 and run through January 31, 2012. to enter your Lil' Picasso in to the contest please follow the instructions below and print the page for entry into the contest. Autism Community Events Coming Soon! ____________________________ HOW TO ENTER: Applicants must submit a "Hand Painted" Work of art from a child ages, 2-6 /7-12/13-18. along with the completed Lil' Picasso submission form and a non refundable submission and handling fee of $5.00 in the form of a personal check or money order made payable to The Lil Picasso Arts Foundation (DO NOT SEND CASH) All materials are to mailed to: The Lil' Picasso Arts Foundation 4763 Pinemore Lane Lake Worth, Florida 33463 Competition Dates Submissions will be accepted between May 1st 2011 and January 31st 2012. All entries must be mailed to The Lil Picasso Arts Foundation within competition guidelines. All submissions must be mailed and cannot be excepted electronically. Art Work Entry: All Work must be created on a standard letter size 8.5"x11" construction paper of any color. Painted with NON toxic paints. Painted By hand with a brush or with fingers, both will be excepted. It does not matter what the the theme of the work is, it just has to be painted by hand with NO prefabricated designs or cut outs. Any theme will be excepted, a for example a picture of "lines" or a picture of a "flower" will all be excepted. We cannot accept works larger then the standard letter size, all entries over the allotted size will be rejected. DO NOT send artwork folded or creased as it will be photographed for publication. Please also provide a small wallet size picture or snapshot of the child for publication. Qualifications All Artworks must be ORIGINAL WORKS done by a child between the ages specified above and that has been affected by Autism, please no assistance from adults except for the preparation of the paints for the children. Lil' Picasso Judges are looking for the true inner artist of the child and the painting should not have any adult influence. A true Lil' Picasso's artwork will speak for itself! Selection Process After an art work is submitted it will be judged by Local Artists within The Autism Community, (2) Online Voting via www.lilpicasso.org website (3) By The Wyland foundation and The renown conservationist and artist "Wyland". For selected artwork the artist will notified by phone or email by March 1st 2012. Submission disclosure By entering the Lil' Picasso Hand Painting Art Competition you release all rights to the submitted artworks. By signing this submission form you hold all partners and affiliates of The Lil' Picasso Arts Foundation non liable. Paying the the handling fee of $5.00 does not guarantee that the submitted entry will be chosen to be published in Hard Cover book that will be produced as a result of the competition. There are no refunds of this handling fee. Every properly submitted eligible entry will be considered for this contest with absolute non partisanship. All Materials will not be returned and become property of The Extra- Ordinary Empowerment Network, Inc. and The Lil' Picasso arts Foundation. If chosen all material can also be used for Television, Internet, and Mobile promotions, by signing this submission form you the undersigned release The Extra-Ordinary Empowerment Network and all it's affiliates to the rights of the submitted works of art further the artists name and likeness can be used for future promotional use.
