In each field, there are good and bad docs, those who believe in FM, and those who don't. Then among those who believe in it, there are those who will treat the pain properly and those who won't. We have to keep searching for that ideal doctor. Good luck and take care. Jeanne in WI omg, that totally sucks Leanne...I was thinking of going to a pain management doctor myself, but I don't think I will...I can't believe he acted like that, and now u have to go back to your family doctor anyway for pain meds... I wouldn't go thru any of that stuff either, due to the expense and you have no guarantee it will help and it could make things worse... I am sorry you didn't get better news from him....I don't have any ideas as to what u should do next, as I am just starting to deal with these doctors cos my fibro is getting worse, but I really don't have much hope...
