Guest guest
Perhaps we can initiate a recall of the governor. They did it in California and the mayor of Miami-Dade was just recalled. Are there any attorneys out there that could help us write up a petition? I'm sure we could get enough votes.
Guest guest
There's already a petition online. I signed it and posted it on FB. Because I don't know others' political stances, I was apprehensive to post it on this forum. It probably won't be distributed. So just google "impeach rick " and you'll see the petition. Guest guest
Unfortunately, there is no recall for statewide offices. The legislature passed a law for that. Guest guest
perhaps the answer lies in the fact that people voted for him and did not take the time to examine what the agenda of this man was...I do not care if you are republican or democrat an informed vote on the issues was needed and that did not happen...he was clear that the intent was to minimize government and that is what he is doing...at our expense..perhaps the 91 folks he hired could be enlisted to provide services...we have no choice but to pray that in 3 years and eight months there are still services for our loved ones..this is only his 4th month in office... Guest guest
I have a friend who works for elections office and she is getting me the forms needed for the recall. I will also check to see how many signatures we need for it to get done. As far as I know we live in a state that is part of a democratic country. We will recall this governor and all of his co-conspirators. Once I know more about signature I will post the information. CarySent from my iPhone Perhaps we can initiate a recall of the governor. Guest guest
Guess you missed the note. Their are no forms to recall the governor in Florida.
Guest guest
Although there are no legal channels for a recall at this moment, there is a recall effort already gaining momentum. A few resources for those who are interested: 1. If you are on Facebook, check out MiddleClassFightsBack and " like " them. They published a note that very clearly outlines the steps required for a recall constitutional amendment. 2. Also on FB is some information about legislation that has already been filed. Like Floridians for the Right to Recall (HJR 785, HB 787) for the full details or go to the Florida House Web site to view the details of the legislation. It has not had any movement yet, but perhaps with more support, it will. Feel free to email me directly if you would like more detailed information (loripepe@...). I have been writing till my fingers are sore this legislative session.... In solidarity, Lori > > > Perhaps we can initiate a recall of the governor.
