Hi Everyone!As you all know, April is Autism Awareness month. I am selling my book to raise funds for the local agencies that provide services for my kids and so many others who are on the Autism Spectrum. Just Being Me is meant to inspire sensitivity and raise awareness about Autism Spectrum Disorder. The cost of the book is $20.00. Thanks for all the positive feedback.  I have had others suggest the same thing… to make a book that could be personalized for each child and just add their pictures.  The verses could be tweaked for their needs (i.e. Covering ears instead of flapping).  They could be used to share in the classrooms at the beginning of the year to help increase sensitivity for the classmates. I love the idea but I have not figured out a way to make the books w/o it costing a fortune.  The books already cost 20.00 to make on shutterfly and then I would need to charge something for my time and S & H.  Not sure if people would want to pay that much.   And, they would have to take the time to take the pics.  I guess I could try and see where people were at.  I loved making it and we have read it in both my kids classrooms.  It would be great to do this for people. Ill see what flies back now that I have shared this online with so many people.  Thanks again for the happy comments! I’m interested...

I think you could eventually make it that you charge a certain amount for your time and inputting other kids’ pictures and perhaps information more personal for them, then load it onto shutterfly. The person then purchases the product from shutterfly? But, somehow you’d need to be paid for your time/effort.... hmmmm....I see the issue... Maybe another vendor, instead of shutterfly? There are other vendors...

It’s a cool idea...
