If healthy snacks are not readily available for your family to quickly grab, they may opt for less healthy, sugary snacks. Here are some healthy snacks that your family can enjoy: - Fresh grapes, strawberries, or blueberries - Slices of celery, carrots, and cucumbers - Celery with peanut butter and raisins - Almonds or hazelnuts <>< * <>< * <>< * <>< * <>< * <>< *<>< Orange, Strawberry and Kiwi Salad To my Diabetics, be careful of the natural sugar in each of these fruits, always in moderation, and remember you can always modify any recipie to suit your needs. 1 tbsp orange juice 2 tsp honey 2 medium orange(s), peeled and sliced 2 cup(s) strawberries, hulled and sliced 1 cup(s) grapes, halved 2 medium kiwifruit, peeled and sliced 2 tbsp mint leaves, chopped In a large nonreactive bowl, combine the orange juice and honey. Add the fruits; toss to coat. Refrigerate, covered, until chilled, at least 1 hour. Serve, sprinkled with mint. !
