Unfortunately, due to early dementia, alzheimers or just plain senility I forgot how to do it. I need your help in figuring it out. Do you use some kind of calipers? float in a tank of water? or what? How do they figure it out? I remember a simple formula to get the BMI. Multiply your weight in pounds by 409, a constant, then divide the answer by your height in inches. Now you divide that answer by your height in inches once again.If you have a BMI of 25.0 you have achieved your ideal weight. If it is under 25.0, then you are below your ideal weight. If you are over 25.0, then you are overweight. If you are 30.0, then you are definitely fat.You definitely need to loose weight. If you are 35.0 or higher, then you are morbidly obese, and you are in need of a serious weight reduction program, since you are now a candidate for serious obesity complications like heart trouble and such what ever those complications may be. Your living existence is seriously in question, so take the numbers seriously, and get on the ball to get to 25.0 or as near to it as you can. I believe the formula works for both males and females, but I am not for sure. Not only does it calculate your BMI, but it gives your percentile related to others your height and age. Danny Enough is as good as a feast. Guest guest Posted May 4, 2012 Report Share Posted May 4, 2012 Krunches is the way to go it's what I do every morning after my swim I have a crunch bench, where I lay almost upside down on my back and my feet are underneath a bar, so I force myself up. oh the soarness I feel the next day, it even hurts to walk, ouchie, but a good hurt you know? anyways tryy laying flat on your back and only go as far as you can up with your head and chin up hands behind your head and just do small reps at a time, at the end you will feel it. sugar " I would rather walk with God in the dark than go alone in the light. But I have been sleeping and sitting in this rocking and reclining chair a year now ever since we had to get the hospital bed in here for . Last week I put a sheet on the floor in our hallway and laid on it, and by golly I could not bring myself up with my hands behind my head. My back hurt like the devil and I could not come up by myself. I put my arms forward and barely could make it up and touch my knee with the opposite elbow.
