Guest guest
We had a bad experience with Dr Tano. He was great, but the office management was horrible. We waited 2 hours or more each time we went ( at least twice a year over 6 yrs.). By the time I got in to see the doc Miki was in total meltdown. It is difficult to speak to a Doc with your child banging her head on the wall. She aggressed to the PA and doc many a time and I was more concerned with that then what I needed to discuss with them. I switched to Lesley in Miramar ( part of Uof M) and she is fantastic. The longest wait was 20 minutes and she knows her stuff. I usually don't like to be negative, but it was REALLY bad. Guest guest
Thanks for telling me that because I just set up an appointment with Dr. Tano. I will let them know ahead of time that if they want anything left in one piece when we walk out of their office then they will make sure Zander is seen on his appointment time. If not, he will tear their office to shreds. GI doctor We had a bad experience with Dr Tano. He was great, but the office management was horrible. Guest guest
This was why when I seconded the opinion that he was a great GI doc I also mentioned the long wait. I first learned about the wait times on this list. I'm very glad we had Dr. Tano do the first colonoscopy/endoscopy but we too had to move on afterward. Threre is no way we could sit sometimes up to 3 hours waiting for him. As I mentioned we moved on to meeting with his colleagues which made for a much shorter wait time but also much poorer results with treatment. If Dr. had been around back then we certainly would have tried him. I've heard great things about him. Sherry We had a bad experience with Dr Tano.
