Guest guest
On my pancakes I use apple sauce or peanutbutter love it sugar " I would rather walk with God in the dark than go alone in the light. " ~Blessed, Sugar toast and jelly. some times for breakfast I make me a slice of whole grain bread. then I melt a bit of real butter in the microwave. then add one table spoon of strawberry preserves and mix up real good in the melted butter. then I spread it on my toast and have a eight ounce glass of milk. this doesn't raise my sugar over 120. of course I always ride my no where bike for 45 minutes between breakfast and lunch which is around six hours. I love eggs, but it is nice to do something different from time to time. the kicker is I'm happy with only my cup of milk. this blows my silly mind to believe and witness the fact that I the fat pig all my life can now drink only a cup of milk and not tare the house down! of course I as well have coffee. I tried lots of the sugar free jams on the market and even if I could have more then just a table spoon of those kinds, I just can't find one I really like. so would rather have the real deal and have less. to me it taste much better. Guest guest
My brother worked in sburg West Virginia for a year. He and his wife were surprised when they went to a fund raiser pancake breakfast when they were asked if they wanted gravy on their pancakes. Guest guest
My favorite topping for pancakes is choke cherry syrup. It's very high in sugar. So, I will get it only once a year. Guest guest
well now that is certainly different, but I love white gravy and would probably like it. actually I like food army style. just pile it all up in one pile in the middle of the plate is fine with me. some folks can't eat if the different foods are touching. well this is about as crazy as it gets in my opinion. once it leaves your mouth, well it certainly doesn't line up in the same order you arranged it on the plate! some restaurants here in OkC like the I hop has a pancake sandwich. I've never tried it, but it does sound good. probably a heart attack in waiting though. toast and jelly. some times for breakfast I make me a slice of whole grain bread. then I melt a bit of real butter in the microwave. then add one table spoon of strawberry preserves and mix up real good in the melted butter. then I spread it on my toast and have a eight ounce glass of milk. this doesn't raise my sugar over 120. of course I always ride my no where bike for 45 minutes between breakfast and lunch which is around six hours. Guest guest
I agree. My brother and his wife didn’t try them with gravy. I did have a grandfather that would put gravy on pound cake and jelly on boiled potatoes. Guest guest
thank you very much. the church I go to now observes the Lord's supper the first Sunday of each month. really doesn't matter much, just as long as it is a church that teaches from the good book and follows the scriptions. toast and jelly. some times for breakfast I make me a slice of whole grain bread. then I melt a bit of real butter in the microwave. then add one table spoon of strawberry preserves and mix up real good in the melted butter. then I spread it on my toast and have a eight ounce glass of milk. this doesn't raise my sugar over 120. of course I always ride my no where bike for 45 minutes between breakfast and lunch which is around six hours. Guest guest
I tell you my beast has a mind of it's own. I sent this directly to Dean and here it is hooked to the pancake line. I was asking Dean about what he knew of the church of Christ? never can recall what I have heard about it. might go to one closer to home instead of the one 25 miles away. guess I should just go some Sunday and find out that way? well Dean all ready gave me what he knew and how it got hooked up with pancakes only God knows for sure. toast and jelly. some times for breakfast I make me a slice of whole grain bread. then I melt a bit of real butter in the microwave. then add one table spoon of strawberry preserves and mix up real good in the melted butter. then I spread it on my toast and have a eight ounce glass of milk. this doesn't raise my sugar over 120. of course I always ride my no where bike for 45 minutes between breakfast and lunch which is around six hours.
