Guest guest Posted May 11, 2012 Report Share Posted May 11, 2012 Hello well, yesterday Advance Diabetes supplies called for my shipment, and I am qualified to recieve a updated meter for my prodigey voice, and then she asked if I had any visual problems, and I said yes I was totally blind, and she said that the new metere is not friendly and it does not speak, so i won't be getting it. anyone knows about this new updated meter? like the name, etc... sugar " I would rather walk with God in the dark than go alone in the light. Did they per chance try to get you to switch to the Solo V2? Sugar, I find it extremely difficult to comprehend a " updated " Prodigy Voice would be blind diabetic unfriendly. Are you sure the person you spoke with knew what they were talking about? It might be worth calling them back. If you don't get satisfactory answers, ask fore a supervisor. The meter you need is definitely called the Prodigy Voice and there is no update to that as far as I am aware. Maybe you should call Prodigy and check first hand so that you can call your supply company and let them know how wrong they are. I hate it when customer service people give out bad info and are so misinformed.. Good luck. Guest guest Posted May 12, 2012 Report Share Posted May 12, 2012 yes sir, this is a different company I never had any issues or problems with them, I use Advance Diabetes Supplies I've bben useing them for 6 years now, that's how long I've been in Fresno. when back home, I use to use CVC Pharmacy now I still use cvs Pharmacy, but on,y for my pills I get both shipped to to me. meds every month and they call for a appt. to make sure I am home, and the same with Adavance, they call me in advance to confirm I still use the same things sugar " I would rather walk with God in the dark than go alone in the light.
