Guest guest
Yes I did have a hot dog for dinner to night, but I had 2 dogs with a bun on each and all the fixens that go with a dog. like chili, onions, relish, mustard and cheese. well one time before I had 2 dogs with the buns and my sugar was 145. now this isn't to high, but when you been running between 90 and 110, this is to high. so to night after partaking of my two dogs with buns I jump on my no where bike for the third time of the day and go for another 45 minutes just to give my insulin a push, so those 2 dogs wouldn't make my sugar 145 again. it worked! Praise the Lord! Thank you sweet Jesus! my bed time sugar is 102! I'm here to tell you guys right now, if not for that extra third ride my sugar would be much higher. I had to pay the price for my extra bun and I knew before I crammed it down my throat that a third bike ride was my dessert. now I will admit at the moment I wasn't enjoying my dessert of choice. actually it was a bit bitter to my taste, however, now that I have seen the results of that ride on the no where bike I have changed my way of thinking. it may have been a bit on the bitter side of my taste, but it paid off in triple! one time at a restaurant here in the City I over heard a couple of ladies in the booth behind us saying that the slice of cheese cake they both were enjoying was going to cost them both 2 extra hours at the Jim that evening. Ok folks, I love cheese cake and many more grate desserts as well. but don't believe I would have been willing that night if it had been me to pay the cost of the cheese cake. 2 hours? I only had to go 45 minutes and that was for one silly hot dog bun extra. is there anything that you would pay such a high price to have right now? if you all ready knew it would cost you 2 hours in a jym to have it right now? even if you knew the exercise for 2 hours would bring your sugar down to where it should be, would you pay that high of a cost? I say not even a 32 ounce glass of cold milk is worth 2 hours of exercise to me. ice cream? blue bell certainly does make some mighty fine flavors? chocolate cake with a fudge filling? how about kee lime pie? kee lime cheese cake? what about one dozen hot out of the oven doughnuts? a big old warm bear claw? I know! hot apple pie with cold vanilla ice cream? a chocolate shake? maybe a zero candy bar? a king size at that! isn't there anything you would exercise for 2 extra hours for if you could have some of it right this minute? we all got our price! what is your sweet sin that you would give 2 hours of exercise in the jym for right now to night? come clean with those who love you and do feel your pane! Guest guest
I have never tried it yet but wouldn't it help to have desserts made with Splenda? Or would it be too nasty? Guest guest
I have made a number of desserts with Splenda. They are very good. In fact, I use less Splenda than the recipe calls for sugar as it is so sweet. _____ From: blind-diabetics [mailto:blind-diabetics ] On Behalf Of Lora Leggett Sent: Friday, May 11, 2012 7:48 PM To: blind-diabetics Subject: Re: confession of a pig. Guest guest
, Most of the time all you have to do with any recipe is to substitute Splenda with the amount of sugar required in the recipe. Also, the Splenda website has many recipes. _____ From: blind-diabetics [mailto:blind-diabetics ] On Behalf Of Lora Leggett Sent: Saturday, May 12, 2012 9:46 PM To: blind-diabetics Subject: Re: confession of a pig.
