Guest guest
Hi I read in the press (so it may not be true!) that people who have kidney tx's have om av 10 years b4 they need another. I have never heard that for the liver. Do we know much about new liver survival times? Also in the tabloids I was reading that reducing fibre (eg white bread rather than wholemeal) can be good for bowel disease as the fibre can irritate / go thru more quickly. I have just tried this (albeit 2 days) and it does semm to help. My uc is quiescent, but i still have loose motions, but whneever i ask my docs about diet they poo poo the idea (excuise the pun!). Has anyone heard / tried this? Tim (UK) psc 01 uc (03)
