Guest guest
Dear Joanne, Just read your post - DAMN,DAMN< and DAMN again. Who is he seeing? I have a lot of faith in those folks from Pittsburgh. I think it will be interesting to see what the US says as to blood flow - they will do a doppler and see that. I am just sitting here at home eating Prednisone. My numbers have fallen today so thank God for that. I will probably see you sooner than later. When is the test next week? Take a big Book - the wait! I am thinking of you both. Love, Ali
Guest guest
Todd has never seemed better to me...full of life, energy, love (new girlfriend )and from the outside looks great. Unfortunately, I just got some bad news from his MRCP that was done last week. He has fluid in his liver and his right intrahepatic artery is completely blocked off. They are going to schedule him for an ultrasound and then go from there. Any ideas on what this all means? Needless to say I am scared and confused. Together in the fight...Whatever it takes! Guest guest
Joanne, I am SO sad to hear the results of Todd's MRCP, especially when his life is going so well, girlfriend and all. He certainly deserves some good news after all he has been through....Good luck with the ultrasound. Please keep us all updated when you hear more. Sending prayers your way. Guest guest
Dear Joanne; I am so sorry to hear about Todd's hepatic artery blockage ... I hope and pray that his doctors will be able to identify the cause and restore blood flow promptly. Do they think it is a " hepatic artery thrombosis (HAT) " ? Please keep us posted on the ultrasound results. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Guest guest
Sorry to hear that news about concerning Todd's MRCP. But from how you describe his current situation as far as how he's feeling and acting, it would seem that whatever is going on in his liver is compensated. In other words, his liver is working well enough for him to feel good and be active. And that is certainly good news. I hope, we hope, that this will resolve without an intervention being required.
