Guest guest
from Cheryl in CA God, How can you stand it? Does King run that hospital? Where the heck do you live that they have such a sad situation? I am so sorry. I think I would have lost it over there and went out sounding very unchristian! I hope things get better for you. 'm still in some hot water. Here's what happened. You know how my Dr. asked me to go to the E.R. Thurs, and I couldn't make it. So the nurse called Friday, and I let her know I would go Friday night. We went, and it is a city hospital so it was very busy. The triage nurse didn't know how to spell thrombotic angiopathy, and thought Mycophenolate was a Dr.'s name. She also didn't have the paperwork my Dr. sent down. She told me that if I wanted to wait for 8 hours, to have a seat. A triage nurse who doesn't know what the conditions are is concerning, and how could she possible triage people correctly. It looks like first come first serve. I sat for 3 hours, and my kidney's ache worse from sitting, a woman with the flu who was supposed to be wearing a mask, was going around with her mask on her neck, asking what we were in for. So here I am immunocompromised and I don't want to catch anything else, and the E.R. including the bathroom is disgustingly gross. We waited for 3 hours, and I couldn't sit any longer and begged my husband to take me home. I didn't feel well, and just couldn't wait for 8 hours. My children were also home alone. We left. ____________________________________________________ IncrediMail - Email has finally evolved - Click Here
Guest guest
My A1c was 5.9 and all other tests tested within normal parameters > I was a little off on the bad cholesterol otherwise fine. I take thyroid > medicine too and b12 shots once a month for persistent anemia. All is doing > well and today I turn 54 years old. > Ken, Great news on the A1C!!! Have you ever tried sublingual B12 tabs instead of the shots? They absorb into the blood stream right away. Some say they are as good as a shot. Congratulations on the new grandchild on its way! Guest guest
- I am sorry for your loss. I guess I missed that email. Thanks for the advice on getting it together. I agree! Jackie wrote: Hi all. I just wanted to update everyone on where I am after the death of my dad. I lost 4 pounds the week of his death and funeral. Sitting at his bedside, I just could not eat. Now I am within 4 lbs of getting scheduled. I just found out that Dr. Chu has injured her wrist and has taken leave early as she was set to take her maternity leave in Dec. I had my last psych eval on thurs last week and am waiting for that to get to and then my file will go to one of the other Docs. Depending on their case loads, and I know they are swamped, It is probable that I will be on the Nov. surgery schedule. I plan to work my remaining 4 lbs off, this week and be at goal so that when calls, I will be there!! This has been an amazing journey. It seems as though it has been a looong one but in reality has just been short of 7 mos since I began this proccess. For all of you out there just beginning, take advantage of your time to get as healthy emotionally, as well as phiscally, as you possibly can. Believe me the time will pass so swiftly, you will wonder where it went. Guest guest
Hi All, We found out some sad news on Memorial Day. 's sister was found dead in her home in Las Vegas. She had oral surgery some weeks ago and then got an infection from it and then she went into the hospital for a week and they did surgery there. She was home on Mother's Day and was recovering so we thought. Then her husband spoke to her on Friday and she seemed fine. But he could not get her Sunday night all night. So I guess he called a neighbor and that person found her. They have a son and daughter and son-in-law. Also we are waiting to take back to the hospital and were going to do that Monday until we found out about his sister. So things are not getting better around here. 's mother is 87 and this news about her only daughter is devastating to her. Take care and I will talk later. Lora

Guest guest
I came home on Thursday afternoon to get some sleep and down time. I told that the doctor ordered me not to spend nights up there. He kind of did. He said if I kept up what I was doing I would land in the hospital. I will write more this weekend but has many issues and I hope we can start working them out. I hope I will be home for some of the time each night. Lora Update > > > > > > Hi All, > We found out some sad news on Memorial Day. 's sister was > found > dead in her home in Las Vegas. Guest guest
Hi Dave And All, We took him to the hospital with the ambulance around 6 on Wednesday evening and he did not get a room until 2 in the morning. We did stay with him in the little room in the emergency area. I stayed until late Thursday afternoon and there are so many issues going on. I think he will be there for weeks. I will do my very best to come home to sleep sever hours each night. This is a lot of stress because there are social workers and psychiatrists asking questions. has a lot of depression and it is very understandable in his situation. So I may not be writing too much in the next few weeks.
