cancer results are in

I just wanted to let everyone know that the test results came back Friday and the doc says I do NOT have cancer. There are, in fact, three tumors in my spine but they are not cancerous. Since I am having problems with a nerve, if they continue to grow (one of them has already) then we will have to do something about them. For now, I'm just enjoying the news! Thanks for all the prayers!

, that is GREAT news.

Back in 1998 I was having back pain and started to see

a Chiropractor. After 6 months of treatment the pain

got worse so the Chiropractor sent me for an MRI of my

spine. On L4, they found a benign tumor that was

growing around the nerve.

I was immediately scheduled for surgery. They removed

the tumor and 2 inches of the nerve...which left me

with very numb toes on my left foot. It took about 5

years before I finally stopped 'bellyaching' about the

pain in the toes and numbness.

It was not a fun surgery and the recovery was very

lengthy for me. I didn't have 'bounce' in my step for

a very very long time.

Great news! Hang in there!

My son and his wife are heading out today from Austin for MD in Houston, Texas. He will spend the week with doctors, procedures, more doctors, etc. We hope to know more about his course of treatment by next week.

He has told all of us that he intends to fight his CC agressively and vigorously! We are all praying, hoping, praying, praying, praying...
