Guest guest
-----Original Message----- The Pre-existing condition exclusionary period will be reduced by the total number of months that the Insured provides documentation of continuous coverage under a prior health insurance policy which provided benefits similar to this policy. I “think” being enrolled/covered under your father’s insurance policy, covers this exclusion, because you have had continuous coverage. What you need to do; is call your dad’s insurance company and ask for a Continuous Coverage Statement. It should list the beginning and ending dates of your coverage. You’ll have to send that Statement to the new company, when you do, you’ll be covered without the pre-existing exclusionary period. Word to the wise, just because you call and ask for the statement, doesn’t mean they’ll send it. Watch the mail and call, call again, until you get it.
