Guest guest
Thanks for posting this Barb! Although the $20,000 donation this year from PSC Partners Seeking a Cure is small in comparison to the miilions given by Musette and , we are really all part of the same team, and we have the same mission .... wanting to move the PSC research forward as quickly and efficiently as possible. But this wouldn't have been possible without all of the hard work in fund raising and donations from all the wonderful members of this group! Just for clarification, the foundation was only established 2 years ago, but the support group has been together for ~ 8 years. I think that is where they got the " 8 year " number mentioned in the press release? Best regards, Dave (father of (21); PSC 07/03; UC 08/03)
Guest guest
Barb, Your eagle eyes don't miss a thing! Thanks for posting this exciting article. This morning, I received a copy of the actual press release from the Foundation (which I've attached) , but this is the first time I've had today to send it out to the group. We're on the map! Thank you to everyone who has supported PSC Partners with donations to make this possible. Ricky PLEASE READ THIS- **Le Bonheur receives grant to research PSC** I’m e-mailing the whole article here. Didn’t want to risk a messed up link. PSC-Partners made the big time, a business journal article.

And to think that the First Annual Virtual Walk was not quite a year ago. We are now planning for the Second Annual Virtual Walk to begin in March - more news to come. Hopefully we can build the number of Virtual s (remember you don't have to leave your home to participate!) and increase our fund raising and donations to further more research funding for this year! Thanks to everyone who made the 2006 grant possible! Joanne (, Ca; mom of , 16, UC/PSC Feb 2006, JRA Feb 1998)
Guest guest
Hooray! Thanks for posting this Barb. You are a wonder at finding these things.People would be even more impressed if they knew that we have only had Partners since Jan. 05 with our first conference to get things rolling in April of 05.Third conference coming up, April 13-15 in Denver. I hope a lot of the new people will join us. They will learn so much.We want to continue our support of research, patient education and donor awareness so please consider joining our second annual Virtual Walk this March.Last year we had 52 walkers and raised $44,500 to fight the fight! All donations are tax deductible. The signature shirts make it fun and easy to ask for support.I personally want to thank all the members of this support group because without the founders and existence of this group, Partners wouldn't have come together. Dave, Ricky and I found each other through this incredible group. This support group is the roots of change for PSC.Want to know more about Virtual Walk 2 ? Email me at leedeubert@... Way to go everyone!LeeSon Bill, PSC/UC 06/04 j-pouch 06/05I’m e-mailing the whole article here. Didn’t want to risk a messed up link.PSC-Partners made the big time, a business journal article.
