If we're going to pass a donut around, I want the first bite! Actually, I want

the first bite because it should be a cream filled donut, and if I get the first

bite, well, I'm going for the biggest part of the cream, not the dry part where

the cream didn't end up!

National day of the doughnut to day!

well this is really to sad for us who have all ready had more then our share

of doughnuts! maybe in honor of national doughnut day, we could all share one

doughnut? I realize that all the members each having a bite may result in a very

small bite! maybe only a taste is all. since I'm a all or none kind of guy, I

will give my tiny bite to Pat. I figure any one who could be a nurse all those

years and not killed a patient in all that time deserves a special reward. so

Pat my dear? you honey can have my small slice of the one doughnut we will share

of all you and my God, if I was a nurse and had a patient like some I have seen

act the way they do and treated me like a pile of poop? there is a very good

chance he may have fell out of a high up window! maybe he could have even drank

his own pee pee! could be all his shots may have hurt like fire from hell! he

may have had to take a small little pill that caused him to set on the thrown a

lot that day! he could have thought some one had spit in his food tray! I could

have even spilled his bed pan on his head! maybe he would have continued falling

out of bed all day long! but then maybe I would have simply ignored his call

when he was in need of me. kind of like slow playing him like the restaurants

will do when they think you have ate to much, even if it is a all you can eat

meal. Patients that are pissed at the world and think it is all the fault of the

nurse are the kind of people that needs a attitude adjustment! maybe take them

in there bed down to the morg where the cold storage is for the folks who have

passed. kind of like forget he is alive and forget he is there with out a

blanket! I mean hospital's do get rather busy and they are always short handed.

it could honestly be a mistake not mint to happen. but you know the old saying?

ok if you are going to be trouble, we got to decide what flavor of doughnut.

I like the one they call Bavarian cream and I know I spelled this nine kinds of

wrong, but some one must figure out what the blue blazes I'm talking about. not

any old cream in a doughnut will work. the apple fritter is my choice, but then

it isn't a doughnut. just as soon as my fat butt makes a certain goal of weight

that I have yet decided on, I plan to go eat me a baby apple fritter where they

sale them. won't have the normal size. will be a good little pig and only eat

the baby which is one fourth of big daddy fritter. plus you can't have the first

bite because we can't trust you to only bite off your share. you will tell us

you will play fair, but you will cheat just like Cy will. none of you old guys

can be trusted when it comes to a fine tasty doughnut! now me the gentlemen pig

can most certainly be trusted as far as you can throw me!

this is so insane. and negative. this diabetic line is to assist in diabetic

problems and give help for good control. I really wish this negative nonsense

could be cleaned up and get back to positive thinking.

I'm sorry mam if I offended you in any way. I do go on a lot with my

nonsense, but truly I don't mean for it to be negative in any way what so ever.

If Dave tells me to cut it out, then I will respect his advice and go away with

my negative ramble. maybe what you should do is when you see my post come across

is just hit the delete key and you won't have to hear anything that I might say

that you believe is negative talk. please do believe me when I say I didn't mean

to offend you or any one else in any way. so sorry!!

You cream donut lovers don’t know what you are missing The best ones are

French cruellers or glazed. That cream is too sweet for me.

,

Keep in mind, as the section in Reader's Digest used to have, and probably still

does, " Laughter Is The Best Medicine. " Trust me, if things got too wild and

crazy, or if we started suggesting eating donuts was truly a healthy breakfast,

then by all means, your concern about the group would be warranted. But, please,

there are times when a little over the top humor if not even self-mockery is

indeed, " the best medicine! "

Well in order to celebrate the National donut day, I ate a glazed donut and

took 2 units of Humalog. The BG was 144 two hours later. I enjoyed every

bite.
