Perhaps for you PSC progresses so slowly that you will never get to the point of needing a transplant. Dr. Chapman (in England) seems to think that a good percentage of PSC patients will not progress to liver failure within their lifetime. I think that as diagnosing PSC becomes more accurate, milder cases that will never require transplant will be seen more frequently.
