Guest guest
Chris A Picc line can be your best friend. I have had several and they make life so much easier when dealing with infections. I was on long term antibiotics twice, for 10 weeks and had no trouble with my line. I got so I could inject my meds while I was driving. It was on a back woods road with very little traffic, but was my finest 1/2 hour of multi-tasking. Be sure to have lots of good tape and gauze pads to keep it clean, and well covered. It was one of the few times I felt like I had some control when dealing with this illness. Stents come and Stents go, hopefully they do some good and don't clog up too fast. If you feel any pain or just feel worse, call the docs. Don't mess around wondering if you should or if you are inconveniencing any one, just call as soon as you think maybe it would be a good idea. This will probably happen during the night or on week-ends, so go to the ER. Good Luck Take Care MizKit
