Guest guest
Well, Mark, 10 pounds a month means in only another year, you'll reach your goal! From what I recall the experts saying over the years, weight lost slowly, due to life style and attitude adjustments, is the best weight loss method. Way to go! Dave ~~ Now available: THE ATTACHÉ! -- From Desert Breeze Publishing ~~ Visit: http://www.authordavidbond.com Upcoming releases: A TIME TO BUILD -- June, 2012 SWEET MUSIC -- October, 2012 A TIME TO HEAL -- February, 2013 OUT OF THE DESERT -- July, 2013 A TIME TO DANCE -- November, 2013 weigh in day is to day. For all those who jumped in on the one month weight lost contest for a $40 gift card from Wal-Mart is over to day. I weighed in at 287.5. was one month ago 294. this looks to me as a 6.5 lost in one month. the winner is a lady name Jackie Nobles on the alum list that I belong to. I actually went to school with Jackie and she had guessed 286.5. only missing by one pound, but closer then my neighbor who guessed 286. the rest of you including my self guessed lower. we all had to much faith and predicted I would be much smaller. to bad! so I started this journey on the first of March weighing in at 317 that day and now weighing in at 287.5. the math tells me this is, 29.5 pound gone in 3 months. I can live with ten pounds per month average. those 2 pounds lost in 2 weeks suck very loud in my opinion, but when you look at the whole picture it looks much better. soon I will have another weight lost contest and of course I demand you join. the prize the third time will be bigger then this time and this second time was bigger then the first time. I use the contest my self as a motivation tool to keep me accountable and to reward you if your guess is the closest. I take my hat of to MRS. Jackie, who I called mop head back in school. she had a huge pile of hair on top of her head and to me way back then she looked like a mop. thin body for a handle and the mop head on the other end. this makes the second time she has won some prize money from me. starting to think she has an in side track in to my future. I thank you all who played. all 21 of you. please hang in and do join in on the next weight lost contest coming soon. I have to think on what it should be and will be letting all know. my goal as most of you know is a total lost of 135 from 317. 105.5 left to go. it does sound like a huge amount, but we can't take it off until we first start and remove the first pound. I've been at it now 3 months and it is a long journey for sure, but what a fine celebration it will be when I win the race some time in 2013!
