Guest guest
Dear Lynn and Dana,The word "overwhelmed" is one of the most frequently used words with those who join us. This was certainly the word I used when my son was diagnosed and overwhelmed wasn't even strong enough. I needed to add devastated, stunned, depressed, scared and still words weren't enough to ease the knot at my very core. This knot was strangling me and it wasn't until I went to Denver in 04 that it started to loosen and let me breathe again. I strongly urge both of you to come to Denver in April if there is anyway possible. It gave me my sanity back and put my son's disease into perspective. The people with PSC that I met there helped me to sort through the real things I needed to deal with and focus on and let me put the fears that were keeping me down out of the way. Once that happened I was able to get my son where he needed to be [ high dose urso, fish oil, probiotic ] and myself where I needed to be to be able to help him navigate the course of this disease. If you can't make it to Denver, please visit the PSC Partners Seeking a Cure web site and start reading all the information there that will help you.www.pscpartners.orgThe newsletters will be really helpful to you.Have questions?
