The surgery took 2 & 1/2 hours. I had an NG tube from Tuesday until Thursday morning. I went home Thursday afternoon. I had a lot of swelling, the scales have not moved down as quickly as I wanted them to, but by next week all the swelling should be gone. The wonderful news is my blood sugars are 118 to 160, almost normal in 10 days with none of my medication for diabetes! This surgery is a gift from God!
