Guest guest
Welcome to the group, . I am Lora in Michigan and I think I know you. I have been diagnosed as a diabetic since June 13 of 2011. Hope you will learn a lot from all these guys here, they really know a lot and more importantly, they follow the advice that others give them. I know what I should do but, well you know. Guest guest
yu crack me up. " well, you know " unfortuneately I know too well though doing quite well most of the time. Some days it's hard to care what you eat. Someone just bought a huge container of animal crackers. Well, I can have a few, no big deal. but when I start to go back for more, well, look out! Hi , I'm Vicki who was diagnosed in 2005, 3 days after my wedding. Talk about angry. Well he is diabetic too and taught me how to test and things so it was okay. I gueswe all have our trials along the way. Glad you are here, I think you will like it a lot like we all do here. noone ever gets judged or anything, but somehow it gets into our grain to do it right, for our own sake, not anyone else. So I'll put the animal crackers away now and go for my megadoses of water. Take care. Vicki Meizinger > > Welcome to the group, . Guest guest
Hi Vicki, It is nice to meet you. You guys are funny! Animal crackers huh? That is funny! How rude that someone bought those and brought them around you! I too have days when I don't give a hoot what I eat! I had to decide that I was worth it and I needed to take care of myself. I hope to learn alot from all of you. It is nice to have humor about all of this.
Guest guest
Well I live in a household with 6 people, from age 3 to 67, so we get all kinds of food all of the time. I try to make sure I have enough fruit and other things so I don't want the other stuff as much. It isn't easy though. But neither is life, we must run the race. Guest guest
Okay, here is my confession for the week! Now we'll see how crazy people think I am. My favorite snack is big dill pickles. I buy the huge jar from Walmart. Who does that? Who would eat a dill pickle instead of a doughnut? Yep, I'm nuts!

You have come to the right place, and if you think you're crazy, wait until you hear some of the stuff eaten by folks in the group! I don't think that you are crazy at all because I do the same thing, I love dill pickles! I wash off the salt and enjoy! I like the kind with garlic and hot peppers the best!
