Guest guest
My son has had one week of chemo - tolerated fairly well. Today and tomorrow will bring more doses. He says he is so anxious to get this cancer knocked out he would even sprinkle the chemo on his food and cereal if that were possible! His attitude remains positive and strong! He became a bit jaundiced last week and an MRI showed some duct blockage - but they do not know if it is due to stricture from the PSC or from the CC. An ERCP schelduled for today for possible stent placement was postponed so as not to interfere with his chemo treatment. We hope and pray the jaundice and liver enzymes, etc. do not worsen. I wish they could just take out the diseased liver and give him a new one right now, but he is not a candidate. Thank you, everyone for your continued prayers, good, and positive energy sent Joe's way. Please continue to keep us in your thoughts.
