Guest guest
" Consider This Before You Reach For That High Calorie Little Tidbit " So many times we rationalize our eating. We think those little extras are not going to affect our weight loss efforts. You know... a few fries at the local hamburger place, an extra packet of dressing at dinner, a jelly donut on coffee break... But did you know you have to walk the following lengths of time at a pace of 3 mph to burn up these extra calories? Large Fries - 72 minutes 8 Onion Rings - 35 minutes Hash Browns, Half cup - 30 minutes Garlic Bread, 1 Slice - 22 minutes Ranch Dressing, 1 pack - 46 minutes Jelly Donut - 45 minutes All those times are approximate and are based on a 150 pound woman. But when you think what it takes to get rid of those calories, it sure puts things in a different light, doesn't it. The next time you reach for that little something extra... think of how much work it will take to shed those extra calories.
