Guest guest
How sad,I sent a letter to the editor to let them know that PSC Partners Seeking a Cure is working to change this sad fact that we are losing people to this cancer and before a chance of a liver transplant. Thanks for posting Barb.LeeCarolynne St. Pierre, a maternity nurse who helped deliver many ofConcord's newborns and who courageously fought an aggressive liver cancer in an effort to remain with her own three children, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007, at the age of 44. Guest guest
Barb, This tragic story had me sobbing for that family, for my son, for all of us. As Joe continues his fight with PSC and CC, next week an ERCP is planned to place a permanent stent. His past two days of chemo have been rough, but he remains strong at heart. I hope I can, too. It is so hard to watch my baby go through all of this. I wish it were me instead. Chris
Guest guest
-----Original Message----- This tragic story had me sobbing for that family, for my son, for all of us. I’m sorry I know you are going through a rough patch right now with Joe and I sure don’t want to pile on any more stress. Whenever I find a story, article or study containing “bad news”, I always wonder if I should post it or not. While I don’t want to hurt, scare, or discourage anyone, I also don’t want to sugar coat or censor anything either. I am a firm believer that knowledge is power, so I post anything I find, good or bad. But, from now on, I’m going to try something new. I will add either “Good” or “Sad” to any people related articles or stories I might find. That way, it will be easier for folks to hit delete if they don’t want to read it. I hope I remember to do it every time, but if I forget, please be patient with me, or remind me. Barb in Texas - Together in the Fight, Whatever it Takes!
