364 Days Post (Lung) Transplant SO, I spent Thursday night and Friday morning FREAKING OUT trying to make sure I had all 's meds and all his supplies packed and ready to go for our trip to Black River. First we were going to leave after the girls got done with school at 3, then decided to leave at noon, instead, because there were snow storms coming in. We got to BRF in the mid afternoon, and the kids and I went to the chiropractor for the first time since we came up here (18 months ago). And the snow began. By the

time Saturday morning came, there was SO MUCH snow down there that both the benefit dinner and my sister's baby shower (planned for today) had to be postponed. And the snow wasn't done coming. Everything got plowed yesterday, and by this morning it looked like things hadn't been touched. And there's more snow coming tonight. We're back "home" (in the cities) now, got here about an hour and a half ago. Exhausted. It just figures that the first time we all go to take a trip back, is the first time all winter we actually get any amount of snow!!! And my poor mom . . . she's been working so hard to put all this together for us, and for my sister, and then it has to be postponed. It's just crazy! We don't have the date, yet, for when everything's rescheduled, but I'll let everyone know when we do. withstood the weekend relatively well. He started running a little temp last night. Got up to 100.0, but was back down again this morning. Friday night he was crying after he got out of the shower, saying he just wanted to "go home" (up here). Poor guy. A good night's sleep seemed to help things. We went out to my mom's for a few hours Saturday evening. The Mahan's and some family from Racine was there, so we got to visit. There was, of course, a sit in the hot tub at our hotel, the girls swimming, Jon helping pull a friend of ours out of the ditch Saturday night, and some other crazy stuff - LoL. Emma decided to stay at my mom's for a few days. And we're all glad to

be home.
