Guest guest
I second that Onale!!! I am really beginning to get sick of this frigid weather. I don't know how much more of this -50*C weather I can take, and they are calling for it for the rest of the week...maybe more. Yuck! Jeff I'm going to have another day of trying to keep my kids from climbing the walls. It's extremely cold outside so I can't take them out for our daily adventure in the snow. Colton's nursery school was even cancelled as it was minus 51*Celsius with the wind-chill this morning. I'm really looking forward to this winter being over. Guest guest
Onale -- Aren't kids just the greatest?????????? Love, Patti Hi All At least we have lots of projects to do today. It's my husbands birthday so we have to make a cake and cards and whatever else for him. The kids get so excited. Yesterday, for my dads birthday, we invited my parents over for cake. Colton made me turn off the lights and we all had to hide until Grandpa got here. When he came in, we jumped out and yelled surprise! Colton was is thrilled that we get to do it all over again for his dad. Have a great day everyone. Onale
Guest guest
I know Jeff, this weather is making me want to move back up to Inuvik where it's only -45*C!!! Being locked in the house with these two little monsters is starting to try my patience. I think that we are all getting a bit of cabin fever! Even my dog has had enough. He decided he was going out today and he refused to come back in. He slept on the deck, right outside the door. When he finally came back in, he looked like frosty the snow-dog. On a more positive note, how much longer can it last... after all, March is only four weeks away!!! Stay warm. Onale
Guest guest
OKay now is my Grandma bragging You keep on bragging, Lin. I was just telling my mother what an idiot I become gushing about my grandson, who I believe is a genius! LOL. Sorry to hear she's got a sinus infection. I know Jake has bronchitis, but, bless his soul, he's still the happiest thing on earth. Take care of you, too. Hugs, Jo

Guest guest
Thanks Jo, just called me awhile ago, Katelin temp is still at 103, she wondered if she should take her back in tonight. I told her to give a warm not hot bath, keep giving her the motrin and of course her antibiotic. I told her if her temp goes any higher, she should definitely call them in the morning, Just let her rest and let the antibiotic take effect. This is the first time she has been this sick so of course they are a little freaked. She was so hard to hold this afternoon because of her temp and the humidity we had, I was just sweating like it was summer. Well Jo you keep on bragging too, I was right , so I am sure you are too, we can call it Grandmother's wisdom. Take care Jo hope you have a good pain day tomorrow You keep on bragging, Lin.
