He put NSAIDS on my allergic reaction list so I can't take Vioxx and all the good stuff that would really help. I'll start something else in September that will just be yet another maintenance drug. My yearly physical is Sept 4 - how fun is that? I hate the Prednisone but that GOD it works for me. The NSAIDS caused edema and that's no good. Looks like you are doing pretty well after what you went through earlier in the year. We were all pretty worried about you. > > Hi , I'm glad you're having a good day! Guest guest Posted August 27, 2008 Report Share Posted August 27, 2008 Hi , with what happenned earlier this year, it's pretty much under control at the moment...At the moment I'm trying my best not to let it show, that I'm not doing so good! In July I developped tonsil infection, Cellulitis on IV antibiotics for 7 days. I was diagnosed with Stenosing Tendinitis, now in August developped severe abdominal pain due to the Anemia meds, dr's scared me to death by doing a blood test, to see if my organs were failing and told me about it while they were drawing up the blood...On Monday had Cortisone injections on both palms....if Cortisone injections don't help, will have to have surgery...A big possibility I have Sleep Apnea and waiting for an appointment...it will take a long time for an appointment because when they see my age, they won't consider it as important....even though I have PF and Asthma...it would have been different if I was twice the age lol!. I was referred to a dermatologist because of new moles that have appeared in my back...a long time ago I removed the previous ones. I developped a skin tag (like a little cyst) were the sun doesn't shine...and waiting to hear if it can be removed....After my PFT's was seeing little stars and birdies and puked in the waiting room waiting to see my lung dr. More meds were added to my list and more dr's...and I was really looking forward to reducing the list....more appointments, I cancelled a few for the month of August and September and moved everything to the month of October....
