Hey all,

Well after getting the letter from the public hospital saying I was

yet to be categorised I have decided to jump the gun and go private.

I don't have medical insurance BUT the consult with the specialist is

only going to cost me about $20. The rest is covered by medicare

which is a huge releif.

It will only be the tests that as my local doctor put it will

cost " thousands " my dad is prepared to use equity in his house to pay

for it (which my sister is against because she's worried she will

lose her share of the house - when he passes that is). She wants him

to use his superannuation that he has saved up. I'm going to ask the

specialist (who is also one of the main public doctors) if there will

be any harm in waiting for the public appointment to have the tests

done. I'm also hoping that if I see him privately and explain my

situation he may look for my referral and take me on through the

public clinic. (I'm a hopefull little bunny aren't I LOL)

I didn't think I'd feel so releived just to have the inital

appointment date!!! I guess I've been ignorning how I feel about this

dX I'm still going to uni but am taking the workload lightly. I have

one big assign due monday which is mostly done but it's now just a

lot of worksheets to finish. I have told them that right now my mind

is a bit shot but that I want to continue.

Ohh and on the WII they are fantastic !!! We were so very very lucky

to win one off a local radio station a few months ago. We have the

sports game, mario cart, and another beach games one. I have found

the twins (now 7yrs) have a love for tennis and baseball and we are

even playing these games " in the real world " We also do our " wii

fitness " test on the wii sports daily and it gives you various

challenges then assess if you are getting better or worse. My

balance was shocking to start with but now I'm up there with the

boys.

Thoughts and prayers are with everyone who is getting over a " bump "

right now. We can do it. Heck I'm even caring for my partner who

broke his arm last weekend playing " sunday social " indoor soccer.

Take care all
